I copy the URL, paste it, and change “twitter.com” to “nitter.net.” It doesn’t work all the time, but is generally helpful for this. This is not the first time twitter did this. When Elon Musk took over, it opened again, I guess he’s (or someone else there) decided they have to know who’s looking.
Same thing happened to me. I have an account but not on my phone. I used to be able to view twitter posts on my phone. Not anymore. Thanks, “Free Speech Elon”. Everyone who got their account restored thanked him and I knew he was full of crap. I just wanted to 🤮every time I saw that “thank you” post.
